CHARGING FROM OUTBOARD MOTORS (12V only)

For dual battery bank chcrging disconnect from Bat+ and connect NC25A's BATTERY+ wire to a Dual Battery Isolator.
Connect outputs to the Bat+ of each battery.

THE CHARGE INDICATOR WILL NOT FUNCTION WHEN CHARGING FROM OUTBOARD MOTORS.
WE SUGGEST USING A VOLTMETER TO MONITOR BATTERY VOLTAGE MAKING IT EASY TO DETERMIN WHEN THE BATTERY IS BEING CHARGED AND TO WHAT LEVEL IT IS CHARGED.

Puse rnust be Rated ot 30A or smaller.
If Fuse Blows repeotedly Install a "Slow Blow" Type.

Note: IF YOUR OUTBOARD IS A PULL START, OR POWER TO THE STARTER IS NOT CARRIED ON THE CHARGING WIRES, THEN YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE THE AUTOMOTIVE STARTING SOLINOID.


OTHER CHARGING SOURCES, Positivo Wire Solar Panels, Unregulated battery chargers, etc...
Connect the negative wire from these sources to Bat -.

CONNECT THE POSITIVE WIRE FROM THE MOMENTARY POSITION ON KEY SWITCH HERE THIS RELAY MUST BE "OFF" WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING.

IF YOU PLAN TO USE SOLAR PANELS ON THE "OTHER CHARGING SOURCES" INPUT, THE PANELS MUST BE EQUIPPED WITH BLOCKING DIODES IN THE POSITIVE WIRE FROM EACH SOLAR PANEL, AND HAVE A RATING GREATER THAN 200V TO PROTECT THEM FROM THE HIGH VOLTGE OUTPUTS THAT NORMAL OCCUR IN OUTBOARD MOTOR CHARGERS.
