The VT is built mostly of Duflex balsa cored composite panels and is hand built by a team of professional builders using epoxy and knitted fabrics for reinforcement. Unlike her many competitors, these boats are fatigue free, lightweight and very strong ensuring excellent longevity and great investment value.
All components are pre-cut from a CAD model making her unique in that she will be production built using the very best one-off materials available yet the speed of construction will make her competitive with the low quality moulded competition . Obvious advantages are the light weight, far stronger, long lasting quality that use of epoxy offers, no mould cost recovery to buyers, the ability to improve design at any time as we are not restricted by mould limitations, high quality paint finishes offer a choice of colours. This is technology really being used to its best potential.

The interior volume will stun you. The Owners Version "V1" has two huge queens size cabins forward in each hull, these cabins have the option of a walk in robe or a single berth forward in the hull. Aft in each hull is a head and shower, these areas are surprisingly big for a 10m boat. Because of the wide hulls, the very wide floor area gives you a feeling of total luxury and an open airy modern feel. The Standard Version "V2" has the two big queen berth cabins similar to "V1" but with one large head and shower on the starboard side and another double cabin in the port hull.
The saloon, galley and internal steering station are on the bridgedeck and create a delightful area that opens onto a big cockpit, this is ideal to relax and entertain, gather with the family, sit quietly and enjoy the 360 degree view of the surrounding scenery or watch it fly by whilst comfortably cruising at 18 – 20 knots.
The catamaran prototype was fitted with twin 140 hp (Suzuki 4 stroke) outboards motors. She reached a maximum speed of 27 knots and the motor suppliers confirmed that with twin 175hp outboards she is expected to do between 30 – 35 knots in heavy trim. In light trim she may reach similar speeds with the smaller motors. Fuel consumption is around 2.2 – 2.4 litres per mile long haul with cruising speeds around 16 – 20 knots.
Diesel motors are optional however the outboards are so quiet and smooth that it is difficult to recommend anything else.
One of the most amazing things about the boat is the soft ride and fantastic handling, she is a true thoroughbred and this shows in her stability and predictable behaviour. Built in Noosa, Goetz took her for numerous trials out to sea requiring a bar crossing to do so. On one crossing a rather large wave took the VT by surprise – take a look at the picture, Goetz and all the crew on board were amazed when they powered through with no water over the decks. The forward buoyancy reserves lifted her through the wave exiting with a soft landing and she headed off to sea.
